ASAVA ร่วมนำเสนอผลงานการออกแบบชุดผ้าไทยจากมูลนิธิส่งเสริมศิลปาชีพ และชุมชนผ้าทอย้อมคราม บ้านคำประมง ดอนกอย จังหวัดสกลนคร ในงาน “Sense of Thai สืบสานใจ หัตถศิลป์ไทย สู่สากล” ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม – 14 สิงหาคม 2566 เพื่อร่วมอนุรักษ์งานด้านศิลปหัตถกรรมและสืบสานพระราชปณิธานของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง โดยผลงานการออกแบบทั้ง 5 ชุดได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากหนังสือ “Thai Textiles Trend Book Spring/Summer 2023” และความต้องการนำเสนออัตลักษณ์และเสน่ห์ที่แตกต่างกันของผ้าพื้นเมืองในแต่ละท้องถิ่นมาพัฒนาและตีความใหม่ให้ผ้าไทยมีความเป็นแฟชั่น ใส่ได้สนุก นำเสนอผ่านซิกเนเจอร์ซิลูเอทของอาซาว่าที่คงไว้ซึ่งความเรียบโก้และสง่างามในรูปแบบโมเดิร์นเดย์แวร์ (Modern day wear) และค็อกเทลเดรส (Cocktail dress) ให้ผู้หญิงยุคใหม่สามารถสวมใส่หรือมิกซ์แอนด์แมตช์ได้ในหลากหลายโอกาส พร้อมตัดเย็บด้วยเทคนิคที่ประณีตและละเมียดละไม ยกระดับผ้าไทยและหัตถศิลป์ไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักในระดับสากล

Asava presented the designs of Thai textiles from the Support Foundation of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand, Ban Kam Pramong Weaving Group, and Ban Don Koi Weaving and Indigo Dyeing Group from Sakhon Nakhon at the “Thai Textiles Trend Fashion Presentation”, held between July 27 and August 14, 2023, in an effort to preserve and promote handicrafts. The presentation also expressed gratitude to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, for her dedication to the welfare of the people. The designs were inspired by the “Thai Textiles Trend Book Spring/Summer 2023” and the desire to showcase the different identities and charms of local textiles in each region through Asava’s signature silhouettes that maintain elegance and sophistication with exquisite sewing techniques, allowing the wearer to mix and match for a variety of occasions.
