In her latest official solo debut single music video, ’LALISA’, Lisa BLACKPINK, or Lalisa Manobal, appears wearing a long shiny cape crop top and wrapped mini-skirt by Asava.
The costume was designed exclusively for Lisa and was specially made in traditional Thai brocade golden silk delicately woven in metal-treaded ancient patterns from Lamphun Province.
The outfit is hand-embroidered, embellished with sparkling Swarovski’s crystal throughout.
In the design of this outfit, YG Entertainment and Asava collaborated on this special project in every step of the process. Their discussions started with the design proposal, Thai fabric selection and needlecraft leading to the creation of the final garments. The finished outfit perfectly combined the original concept and the brand’s signature style.
Asava chose to convey Thai authenticity through the adoption of contemporary versions of traditional Thai dress such as the breast covering (sa-bai), sarong wrap (zin) and frontal pleats.

โดยผลงานการออกแบบชุดสำหรับโปรเจคท์พิเศษในครั้งนี้อาซาว่าได้มีการพูดคุยและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลกับทางค่าย YG Entertainment อย่างละเอียดในทุกๆขั้นตอน
ตั้งแต่กระบวนการออกแบบ การเลือกผ้าที่ได้รับโจทย์เป็นผ้าไทย การเลือกวัสดุ ไปจนถึงขั้นตอนการตัดเย็บชิ้นงานจริง เพื่อให้ได้ชุดที่ผสมผสานระหว่างคอนเซปต์ที่ได้รับและเอกลักษณ์ของแบรนด์ได้อย่างลงตัว
โดยอาซาว่าเลือกที่จะถ่ายทอดกลิ่นอายของความเป็นไทยผ่านการหยิบเอาโครงชุดที่ดัดแปลงมากจากการห่มผ้าสไบ การนุ่งผ้าซิ่น และการจับจีบ มาดัดแปลงให้มีความร่วมสมัยมากยิ่งขึ้น
ผสมผสานเข้ากับซิกเนเจอร์ในแบบฉบับอาซาว่า เพื่อขับเน้นสรีระและคาแรคเตอร์ที่โดดเด่นของลิซ่าโดยเฉพาะ เกิดเป็นชุดที่มีความเรียบหรูและสะท้อนถึงความเป็นไทยได้อย่างลงตัว
