The Fide Fashion Week started off with a bang evening at The Pavilion, South Promenade, besides The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands! Many renowned fashion figures packed the event venue, appreciating the magnificent pieces dressed on the models walking down the fashion runway. At the Asian Couture Evening, there were a total of four fashion shows featuring collections from four of the most prominent Asian couturiers.
“Urbane, sophisticated and practical” is how Asava’s designer-owner Polpat Asavaprapha, a renowned designer from Thailand is known for his designs focusing on female individuality. His collections demonstrate clean lines, classic cuts and strong colours. Whichever you look at them, it’s all stunning, which is what you’d expect from the former fashion director at Max Mara, New York, who launched Asava, in 2008.
